The Vital Link has two parts; a console and a pendant transmitter.  The console contains a telephone communicator which the installer will connect to your telephone lines.  Pressing a button on the top of the console will allow you to summon help whenever an emergency arises.  The waterproof pendant, which weighs less than an ounce, allows you to move freely in and around your home and gives you the ability to call for help.  Simply press the button .  The console will sound to let you know that your signal was received.
